Wrote the following about SKB 1SKB-SC63 Guitar Case for Gibson® Explorer® and Firebird®

I have a custom guitar that is shaped like a Jackson Kelly. However, it is a 7 string with fanned frets, so it's slightly wider and bigger than the standard Jackson affair. The guitar fits the case pretty well and when shut, it is a tight fit. I am very pleased with the case compared to the previous Rockbag case.

The only reason it is only 4 stars is that the front pouches are slightly thin and not as well protected sadly.

Excellente housse !

Ces housses semi-rigides sont pour moi une référence désormais. J'avais déjà acheté la version pour Strat et pour Les Paul. Je viens d'acheter celle-ci pour mon explorer et c'est parfait ! Solide, pratique et beau.

Je suis étonné par les commentaires que j'ai vu qui disaient que les explorer ne rentrent pas. La mienne rentre parfaitement. Certe c'est très serré au niveau du manche mais à ma connaissance c'est normal. Ça permet de garder la guitare bien stable !

Neded a gigbag for a Schecter E-1 SLS Elite I recently acquired. Went through different options on the internet, none of which were convincing.
Found this SKB on B-Stock and the priced was greatly reduced (143 Euros instead of 230 Euros).
Was a little concerned of what the conditions may be given the big discount. It arrived, perfectly packed and in perfect conditions.
It's a great fit, very little wiggle room sideways (2 to 4 cm), the thing is thick and safe and light enough.
Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
