General
Electric guitars with a longer scale length are becoming increasingly popular, because they are tuned lower than regular models or 7 or 8-string guitars. Unfortunately, these extra long beauties don't fit in a standard universal guitar case. That is why Gator specially designed the GC-ELEC-XL for electric guitars with a longer scale length, or neck. This classic, lightweight case is made of durable ABS and is able to fit guitars with a total length of up to 42 inches.
Features of the Gator GC-ELEC-XL
Apart from its size, this plastic case is identical to the GC-ELECTRIC-A. It has a robust ABS exterior with protective aluminium edges. The inside is made of soft but firm EPS foam with a super soft plush lining, which means you can safely transport your electric guitar. The Gator GC-ELEC-XL will keep your precious guitar safe!

Great case, fits my Jackson SLATXSDQ 3-7 Trans Blue perfectly. The interior is lined with some protective material, the case is very sturdy and seems like it would be able to take allot of abuse. Would definitely recommend this product for longer scale guitars.

ik gebruik al jaren deze koffer voor mijn Cadillac Coupé gitaren. Stevige kist met een licht gewicht en ze past perfect voor mijn gitaren. Ik heb al gitaren over heel de wereld verzonden in deze koffers en nog nooit schade gehad.

Goede stevige koffer voor 7-snaren, wel spijtig dat mijn gitaar wat schuift in de koffer maar dit is makkelijk op te lossen door er een stoffen doek in de stoppen.

Heel tevreden van deze aankoop.
Ik was al een tijdje op zoek naar een koffer voor mijn Mustang bas. Na wat meetwerk was ik op deze Gator case uitgekomen. De bas iets een klein beetje langer dan de binnenkant van de kist. Maar als je het beschermende materiaal een klein beetje naar achter duwt aan de headstock, zit alles als gegoten.
Een aanrader!
