The synthetic parts have been aged to contrast beautifully with the distinctive black pickguard. The hardware has also been modified. Just like the original, a high-output pickup - a Tex Mex Alnico single-coil - can be found in the bridge position. This pickup produces a warm and powerful signal for a full tone.

Construction

The Limited Edition Standard Stratocaster's base sound comes from its alder body, in combination with the maple neck and fretboard. Two standard single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions deliver the famous Stratocaster tone. As already mentioned, an extra-high output Tex Mex Alnico pickup has been fitted in the bridge position. The Tex Mex produces a wall of sound that is perfect for blowing your audience right off its feet!
