General
If you often play in the lower register or with drop-tunings, then you're probably also familiar with limp or clattering strings. D'Addario has developed this Light Top/Heavy Bottom string set to conquer that exact problem. This hybrid NYXL1052 set contains thin strings from a .010 pack and the wound strings of a .012 pack. What's special about these strings is that they're made of high-carbon steel, making them 20-40% stronger than other strings. They're also 131% more stable, so the days of having to tune again and again when they've been stretched out are over.
D'Addario NYXL1052: Get Yourself Heard
These NYXL strings will help ensure your sound doesn't get drowned out. D'Addario's improved formula for nickel-plated steel gives them 6% more magnetic permeability than traditional nickel-wound strings, which results in more output in the 1-3.5 kHz range. In other words, these NYXL1052 strings offer extra presence and punch in the mid-range, ensuring your guitar cuts right through the mix. Ok.... Deze had ik niet aan gedacht. Wellicht voor anderen om te onthouden!
Ik dacht ik bestel een keer wat stevigere snaren vanwege mijn speelstijl. Snaren waren bedoeld voor mijn Charvel model 6 welke nog steeds de originele Jackson brigde heeft. Echter de .52 is nét iets te dik. Ik krijg dan net niet de, in ieder geval de 6e snaar niet vast op deze gitaar.
Jammer dus. Die passen dan niet. Op mijn Charvel. Ik had ze graag een keer uitgeprobeerd.

De set klinkt erg zuiver, en blijft langere tijd goed klinken in vergelijking met de standaard Daddario snaren sets. Ook ontstemmen mijn snaren (vooral de G snaar) minder snel. al met al een prima set snaren
