Fender has used pure nickel (vintage nickel) to produce these 155L Classic Core strings. This light string set is a breeze to play because of its below-average string gauge (.009-.042) which is ideal for beginners. These strings are light and flexible but still offer a full, vintage sound.

Classic Core

Modern day strings usually come with a hexagonal core while round core strings were used widely back in the old days. Thanks to their round core, however, these strings have an authentic, vintage vibe. They offer more low-end depth whereas the higher notes sound can be described as fragile and soft.

Wrote the following about Fender 155L Classic Core Vintage Nickel string set light

Nadat mijn Fender Strat MIJ een tijdje stof heeft liggen happen hem weer opgepakt. Vroeger gebruikte ik vooral D'Addario snaren, maar nu een Fender 155L Classic Core Vintage Nickel Light set erop gezet. Ze spelen heerlijk licht en de sound is mooi vol. Deze snaren zijn een aanrader!
