Built for the hardcore shredder, the Charvel Pro Mod DK24 is a supreme Super-Strat boasting the bright accent of a luxurious ebony fretboard, the light touch of a set of 24 jumbo frets, and the smooth access provided by a lower horn finished with a 'shredder's cut'. The compound radius of the fretboard graduates from a snug 12 inches at the headstock to a fluid 16 inches at the body - supporting tight rhythms as well as flying solos. In short, every design detail of the Pro Mod DK24 is packed with thought.
The Pro Mod DK24: Built for Heavy-Lifting
The alder body has been loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan passive pickups, so you get the sweet, lightly scooped mid-range and present trebles of a Full Shred humbucker at the bridge, and the formidable versatility of an Alnico II Pro APH-1N humbucker at the neck. Built for blistering rock, heavy blues, and metal, note definition is guaranteed whether the tone is squeaky clean or squeezed through heavy distortion, and thanks to the No-Load Tone Control, the tone pot can be pulled out of the circuit completely, leaving you with the pure character of this uncompromising model.
