The Duesenberg Starplayer Special Black Sparkle is a single-cut semi-acoustic electric and resonator guitar that boasts a powerful rock sound, but can also be used for other music genres thanks to the multi-tone control. With it, you can toggle between the Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker in the neck and the high-output single-coil Crunchbucker in the bridge.

The sparkling contribution to this guitar's sound is due to the use of various wood types. Deusenberg have used maple for the neck and body, resulting in an extra layer of high that other single-cut guitars don't have. The neck has a rosewood fretboard and the heel is joined by means of 4 bolts to the body with great accuracy, ensuring better sustain.

Deusenberg borrowed their name from the famous 1920s German automobile company that was known for elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. Duesenberg guitars adopted these qualities too when they began making guitars in 1986 and since then have paid enormous attention to emulating the details of the art-deco style in their guitars.
