This generously affordable model has a solid poplar body finished with snug contouring and a light feel for maximum playability, while the amplified sound is shaped by a pair of fierce P-90 pickups. As such, the Camero delivers a potent bite framed by a touch more output than you would get out of a standard set of single-coils, and a little more brilliance than you would get with a humbucker. To finish, a tremolo bridge complete with whammy bar invites subtle to extreme vibrato tricks, completing a solid and adventurous starter's model.

Wrote the following about EKO Camaro VR 2-90 Blue Sparkle Electric Guitar
De set-up was wel nog niet helemaal top. De hals was ok. De brugzadels heb ik een stukje laten zakken en de pick-ups een stukje hoger geplaatst.
Het probleem zat bij de intonatie. Het brugzadel van de hoge E-snaar kon niet ver genoeg naar voor door de bolle kop van een schroef van de brug. Die schroef heb ik moeten vervangen door een schroef met platte kop zodat het zadel nog ietsje meer naar voren kon.
Bij het Fender equivalent van dit model (AMERICAN PERFORMER JAZZMASTER) zou ik dit probleem niet accepteren omdat de prijs x10 zou zijn.
In deze prijsklasse heb ik na het oplossen van dit probleem wel een leuke gitaar met een goede klank.
Oh ja. Verder is het ook genieten van de heerlijk 'foute' afwerking in 'blue sparkle'.
