Following the Flying V EXP by parent company Gibson, Megadeth mastermind Dave Mustaine presents another, more affordable signature guitar in collaboration with Epiphone: the Flying V Custom. Dipped in Black Metallic lacquer, this seriously brutal V-guitar features a mahogany body and a matching set-in neck topped with a dark ebony fretboard. It also comes wrapped up in its own hardshell case which, just like the back of the headstock, has been adorned with Mustaine's silhouette.

The Signature Thrash Factor humbuckers mounted on this Epiphone-built solid-body are based on the same JB pickups that voiced Megadeth's seminal record 'Rust in Piece' and shape aggressive trebles, lightly-scooped mids and tight basses, resulting in face-melting tone no matter the pickup switch position. Finished with a string-thru tailpiece, a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, a GraphTech nut and a set of Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, this top-specced Artist Collection Flying V naturally offers unyielding tuning stability.
