Developed in collaboration with Megadeth guitarist Dave Mustaine, the Epiphone Artist Collection Flying V Prophecy has all the specifications needed to deliver symphonies of destruction, including a mahogany solid-body topped with AAA-grade flamed maple veneer as well as a set-in ebony-on-maple neck finished with tight cream white binding. So this especially mouth-watering, death-metal-ready electric guitar can be kept in one piece, Epiphone even ship it off in a matching hardshell case stamped with Mustaine's silhouette.
The Dave Mustaine Flying V Prophecy: Built for War
As well as a custom Artist D-profile, this signature Flying V comes with specially-developed humbuckers to support tight rhythm parts as well as smashing leads. In fact, the fitted Fishman Fluence pickups support anything from modern, active double-coil tone to vintage PAF-style sounds and single-coil-style cleans, while the unyielding tuning stability stems from a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge combined with a matching stop bar and a set of Grover Mini Rotomatic locking tuners.
