After the success of the Les Paul Goldtop, Gibson equipped a black-and-white Les Paul guitar with gold-coloured hardware so it would match a man's dinner jacket, resulting in the Les Paul Custom, a.k.a The Tuxedo. In order to keep the Les Paul Custom at the top of the heap, Epiphone re-released the original model with an extra humbucker in the middle position, and the ultimate Tuxedo, the Les Paul Black Beauty, was born!

Wrote the following about Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty Ebony

Reçue cette semaine donc difficile de donner un avis correct car je n'ai pas encore joué en condition de répèt ou concert...

Très belle guitare, la finition a l'air bonne. Le sustain à l'air correct.

Si Epiphone mettait des micros Gibson il y a 20 ans sur les "les Paul", ici, ce sont des epiphone... Bref, achat direct de nouveaux micros... Déception car le prix est tout de suite à plus de 1000 si on prend ce point en compte...

Difficile d'estimer si elle sera meilleure ou pas qu'une Gibson bas de gamme... Mais je l'ai gardée car c'est la seule qui propose 3 micros...
