The ESP LTD Joe Duplantier JD-1 brings uncompromising power to the stage floor. Based on a unique, modified variation of the offset XJ body shape, this signature guitar delivers the raw, direct sound Gojira's frontman is known for. Thanks to its mahogany construction with a thin, three-ply roasted maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard, the JD-1 feels both solid and responsive. The 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets effortlessly support fast licks and heavy riffs. In the bridge position, the proprietary DiMarzio JD Fortitude element provides powerful, passive output, perfect for both deep, tight rhythms and melodic solos. With LTD locking tuners, a Hipshot Tone-a-Matic bridge and Graph Tech TUSQ nut, tuning remains stable, even with firm use. Comes in a deluxe ESP case, so you can hit the road safely straight away.
