The build of the Wolfgang WG Standard Tunamatic
Equipped with a comfort-cut basswood body and a pleasant maple neck, the EVH Wolfgang WG was made to feel fantastic in your hands. Thanks to its lightweight basswood body, the guitar produces a warm tone with powerful mids. The comfortable maple neck is fitted with graphite reinforcement and a maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. Two powerful EVH Wolfgang humbuckers deliver a delightful sound, while a fixed Tunamatic bridge ensures optimal intonation and a stable tuning. The tone controls of this EVH WG-T Standard Black MN have been deliberately kept to a minimum, comprising only a master volume and a master tone knob.

Voor sommigen een nadeel anderen een voordeel is dat de floyd rose niet zweeft. In mijn geval een voordeel omdat andere stemming of dikte van snaren ik de afstelling niet al te veel hoef bij te stellen.
De volume en tone regeling zijn als je dan met een minpunt moet komen, de enige zwakte. Voelen een stuk goedkoper aan dan andere gitaren in die prijsklasse.

De gitaar ziet er goed uit, hij voelt stevig aan en is netjes afgewerkt.
Hij heeft niet de hals van een scheurgitaar maar dat betekent niet dat je er niet op tekeer kan gaan.
Hij ontstemt niet snel en de sustain is goed.
De elementen hebben een vet geluid, helder en met goede definitie. Geschikt voor clean en lekker overstuurd. Er zitten EVH wolfgang elementen in die als set al bijna net zo duur zijn als de gitaar inclusief elementen.
Het voelde alsof er 009 snaren op zaten, ik heb ze verwisseld voor 010 om wat meer spanning op de snaren te krijgen en het geluid wat vetter te maken.
Kan deze gitaar zeker aanraden!
