The Wolfgang Standard guitar by EVH is a modern combination of legendary guitarist Alex Van Halen's favourite specifications and features. It boasts aspects of both single-cut and ST-style solid-body guitars. This electric signature model features two humbuckers mounted directly to the lightweight yet durable body. There's a 25.5-inch maple fretboard with a 12 to 16-inch compound radius for great speed and optimal playing comfort. This particular model of the Wolfgang Standard comes in a classic black high-gloss finish.

Wolfgang Standard: Jumbo Frets, Supple Neck and Warm Sound

The EVH WG Standard was designed to offer guitarists an excellent playing experience at a reasonable price. To achieve this, it has a comfort cut body and a smooth Wolfgang Backshape neck. The body is made of lightweight basswood and produces a warm tone with powerful mids for that typical EVH brown sound. Furthermore, two powerful direct-mount Wolfgang humbuckers give it a prominent sound when amplified. Finally, the comfortable maple neck is reinforced with graphite and has a maple fretboard with 22 jumbo frets.

Innovative Design and an EVH Floyd Rose Special

This EVH WG Standard is equipped with a licensed Floyd Rose bridge, which is able to cope with heavy use. No matter how many dive bombs you do with this tremolo, the R2 locking nut keeps your guitar perfectly tuned. The design of the Wolfgang WG Standard incorporates a number of details that have been specified by the master himself. The direct-mount humbuckers, for instance, were included to enhance directness and sustain.
