Straight out of the box this guitar sounded awesome and played with a lovely low action. Finish was good, all that you want in a strat. Great value for money

I was curious just how bad this would be , given the price- I got it for £58. i intended to use it as a project to mod. The body and neck are really quite good, certainly good enough to use as a base to upgrade. Even the pickups are useable- pretty strat sounding , but are weak and need to be quite high.

However the rest of the hardware is pretty bad and needs replacing if you really want to gain full intonation- the nut was awful. Not sure this is a guitar for a beginner, as it needs a lot of adjustments to make it stay in tune and intonate properly, and may put you off learning. IMO if you can get as b stock or discounted and looking for a base for a project , it does the job- hence the rating- mine is now a 1950’s style fiesta red strat.
