General
Fazley's Startist Basic ST118 is an electric guitar that's perfect for beginners and more advanced players. This attractively-priced model has a number of features that you rarely see on instruments in this price class. To start with it has a body made of ash giving you a modern version of the legendary 'spank' sound. That's delivered to your amplifier by three ceramic, passive single-coil pickups by Wilkinson that have staggered poles adding a vintage vibe to the basic modern sound.
Fazley Startist Basic ST118: parts by Wilkinson, Graph Tech and Alpha
The ST118 also features a modern, 2-point tremolo bridge by Wilkinson which allows you to easily add subtle vibrato effects to your playing. Excellent tuning stability is assured as well thanks to six WJN-01 machine heads that are also made by Wilkinson and a TUSQ string nut made by Graph Tech. The electronics are sure to be reliable too with the 250K volume and tone potentiometers being made by popular brand Alpha. While we're name dropping, we should also mention that the strings on the Fazley Startist Basic ST118 are by none other than D'Addario. As if all that isn't enough, Fazley have even included a gig bag!
