Fender's American Performer Stratocaster HSS gives you a wide range of tones to go with its excellent playing comfort. This attractively-priced American model is made in Corona, California and follows on from the popular American Special series. It even comes with a deluxe gig bag included.

The American Performer Stratocaster HSS: Yosemite and DoubleTap

There's plenty of innovative technology going on underneath the alder body of this Strat. The newly-developed DoubleTap humbucker, for instance, can be split using the push/pull tone potentiometer for single-coil sounds. It's even been designed so that the volume remains the same in either setting. There are two Yosemite single-coil pickups on board as well that have a high output and a shellac coating to prevent problems with feedback. The Greasebucket Tone circuit gives your more control over the high frequencies too.

Optimal playing comfort

This version of the HSS Strat has a maple fretboard for a bright, clear sound. The maple neck has a modern C profile, a rounded 9.5-inch radius and 22 jumbo frets that all enhance this model's playing comfort. Finally, the ClassicGear machine heads ensure excellent tuning stability and have a lovely vintage look.

Ontzettend fijne gitaar. Ik heb hem vergeleken met de Fender Players series variant, maar vanwege de satin finish op de nek en de goede elementen heb ik gekozen voor deze gitaar. Hij speelt heerlijk, al moest hij wel even ingespeeld worden. De kleur van de body is als een snoepje, en de nek is van prachtig wittige maple gemaakt.

De humbucker schakel functie is best nuttig als je toch even iets meer scheurwerk nodig hebt of juist gas terug wilt nemen. Hij is goed afgesteld, dus ik raad hem zeker aan.

Super fijne gitaar. De hals ligt lekker in de hand en de gitaar ziet er werkelijk prachtig uit! De afwerking en feel is perfect. De actie was iets te hoog voor mij maar dat is ook smaak. De single coils en humbuckers klinken zoals van een strat verwacht. Een goede, veelzijdige en lekker spelende gitaar voor een net zo goede prijs.

Cest ma première Fender US et je suis sous le charme. Non seulement elle a une grande polyvalence dans les sonorités mais elle sonne également merveilleusement bien. La livraison a été très rapide commande le vendredi et livrée le mardi. Javais peur de lacheter par correspondance mais elle est arrivée en parfait état et surtout est elle très bien réglé. Merci à Bax pour cette achat.

Een goede prijs voor een nieuwe Amerikaanse strat. Verder is de kleur en afwerking ervan prachtig. De humbucker geeft, zeker wanneer geblend met een of beide single coils, een zeer warme, volle klank die je met enkel single coils moeilijk kan nabootsen.
