General

The Fender American Ultra II Telecaster is the end result of seven decades of iteration. The most advanced Tele built to date, this first-class axe features a comfortably-contoured alder body fitted out with a set of Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Telecaster pickups, guaranteeing classic Fender twang without a hint of noise. Using the special S-1 switch, you even have the option to place both pickups in series in the middle position to gain extra-full sound. Every model is painstakingly put together in the United States and comes wrapped up in a deluxe, form-fitting guitar case.

The American Ultra II Telecaster: A More Than Satisfying Playing Feel

The quarter-sawn maple neck is no doubt one of the best perks that the Ultra II Series Tele has to offer. This, combined with the modern D profile, Ultra-Satin finish and 10-to-14-inch compound fretboard radius, lends the guitar an especially smooth playing feel, whether you're on lead guitar or backing up the rhythm. At the same time, the rounded heel ensures full access to all twenty-two medium frets, while smaller but no less insignificant details like the Luminlay side dots and chromed brass block saddles are indicative of the amount of thought that's gone into the high-end design.
