General
The Fender Classic '60s Jazzmaster Lacquer PF in Surf Green is a modern electric guitar with an authentic look, feel and sound. That's because it's equipped with the same sort of parts that were found on models back then. This type of guitar was at the forefront of surf and rock music and is an integral part of music history. The Surf Green lacquer and white pickguard are a classic combination that look just as good today as they did in the past.
Jazzmaster
The Jazzmaster's large comfortable offset body was originally designed for jazz and blues guitarists who wanted to sit while playing but the model quickly became popular in other genres too thanks to its alternative specifications. The soapbar pickups deliver the typically bright Fender tone with extra warmth while the dual-circuit design gives you the perfect sound for rhythm or lead playing. This model's bridge and tremolo have a completely different design to that of a Stratocaster, which means the resonance is different too, giving you a guitar with unique sound and a special feel.
Authentic
Fender has spared no expense in making this guitar as authentic as possible. The nitrocellulose lacquer, for instance, is thin enough to let the characteristic sound resonate through clearly and it's been given a vintage tint for a truly retro look. The two American Vintage Jaguar pickups are versatile enough for playing a wide range of music styles in addition to surf and rock. Finally, the vintage-style frets, bridge and machine heads ensure that this guitar feels just like a model from the past too.
