This Fender Classic Series '60s Telecaster Candy Apple Red PF takes you back to a time when music was going through an unprecedented period of development. The Telecaster was just as popular back then as it is now thanks to its renowned twang. This model has a dark-coloured fretboard just like the models from the '60s, although this one is made of pau ferro rather than rosewood. Fender chose pau ferro for its similar characteristics to rosewood and for the fact that it's a more sustainable wood type. In terms of look and feel, it's not much different and it still adds a touch of warmth to your sound.

Classic Series '60s Telecaster: twang, rock, or anything else

It simply wouldn't be a proper Tele without a proper twang, but that's not something you'll have to worry about with this model. The alder body and vintage bridge with three barrel saddles help to give this guitar its lively sound. The amplified sound is '60s-style too thanks to two vintage-style single-coil pickups. The 'aged' lacquer gives it an authentic look and feel which completes the whole package.
