The maple neck has a 1962 C profile and features 21 medium jumbo frets.
Limited Edition 1958 Jazzmaster: rich and versatile
The Custom Shop Jazzmaster in Desert Sand features pickups that are entirely hand-wound, and based on the famous single-coils that were used when this legendary guitar was first introduced. Besides these pickups, the classic lead and rhythm circuit was also used, resulting in a rich sound with impressive tonal versatility. This limited edition solid-body guitar from Fender's Custom Shop comes with a case, a certificate of authenticity and a Limited Edition neck plate with four bolts.
Custom Shop Jazzmaster
Fender used the 1958 Jazzmaster as its inspiration for these Limited Edition solid-body guitars. While an original '58 model is absolutely priceless, the master luthiers in Corona, California have made an instrument with the same charm and feel, but one that's well within reach for most of us. They've used the specs from the first Jazzmasters from the late '50s as a base, and added a few upgrades and modern touches here and there. Of course, the Custom Shop spared no expense to make sure you get that true Closet Classics feel. As such, this guitar offers a tasteful, timeless look, sublime build quality and an entirely vintage-correct sound.
