This 2013 black Fender Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster is equipped with a long-horned pickup configuration that makes this Fat Strat (a model with a humbucker and two single coils) even fatter than a standard HSS Stratocaster. Of course, the name kind of gave it away: one of American Fender's biggest sounds beautifully combines with the US' largest state.

Deluxe Lone Star: tight single coils and powerful humbucker

Whereas the single-coil neck and middle pickup - Fender's tried and tested Texas Specials - produce a bright sound, the Twin Head generates a discomfortingly powerful humbucker sound. You can easily switch to a classic single-coil spectacle with the S-1 switch, which enables only the outer coil of the Twin Head. The Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster is a highly reliable instrument with strong, varied sounds.
