General
The Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat is an electric guitar that's sure to put a smile on your face. That's down to its look, its sound, its playing comfort and the fact that it comes complete with a Deluxe gig bag. It's so comfortable, you could play this instrument and enjoy its incredibly versatile sound all day long. With the V6 switch, you can easily change between spanky single-coil tones and high-gain sounds.
Deluxe Roadhouse Strat: modern design features
There's nothing wrong with the standard Strat, of course, but making small improvements is always possible. This Deluxe Roadhouse model features a 2-point tremolo with bent steel saddles, for instance. This improves the intonation and the sustain as well as the tuning stability. The locking machine heads also add to the tuning stability and make it easier to change the strings. For optimal playing comfort, the pau ferro fretboard is relatively flat and has a 12-inch radius that makes it easier to press down the strings.
Versatile sounds
The ash body on the Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Strat is equipped with three Vintage Noiseless Single-Coil Strat pickups that deliver an authentic Fender tone without any unwanted noise. Thanks to the on-board electronics, it's possible to conjure up a wide variety of sounds. By using the V6 switch, you can choose between six different preamp settings. There's an S1 switch too that gives you even more tonal options when the 5-way pickup switch is in the fourth and fifth positions.

Since the beginning of this year, rosewood has been subject to certain regulations introduced by CITES. Fender have taken this as an opportunity to replace rosewood with pau ferro on their new Mexican models.
