General
The first Fender guitars available in Europe all had a Sunburst finish that's never really gone out of style since. That's why Fender have made this version of the Deluxe Nashville Telecaster in 2-Color Sunburst. This model combines its classic looks with the famous Tele twang and a few modern additions. Most striking is perhaps the addition of a third pickup in the middle position, which is something you don't normally get on a Telecaster. It gives the Deluxe Nashville model more versatility, making it suitable for almost any genre of music. Excellent sound quality is delivered by three Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups.
A modern classic
Other modern additions to this classic-looking model include a 12-inch fretboard radius, which makes it possible to lower the strings, so that it's easier to play fast leads and bend notes. The bevelled heel means that even the highest of the 22 frets is easily accessible. The Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster 2-Color Sunburst has a body made of alder with a neck and fretboard made of maple.

The only down side was the intonation set up ?
It had either been overlooked at the factory or poorly set.
Had to take the guitar to my local expert and pay to have it set up properly as the tuning was awful.
Its a shame Fender produce a lovely guitar and them there is a let down on the customer experience with something so basic !!

Gitaar was keurig en veilig verpakt.
Dit is de meest veelzijdige gitaar die ik ooit heb gehad. Alle specks van een telecaster maar door het extra "strat" element voor meerdere muziekstijlen te gebruiken.
Brug element geeft een fijne twang terwijl het hals element mooie warme tonen geeft.
Afwerking van de gitaar is erg goed en de stemmechanieken werken perfect. Al met al een aanrader

Firstly, there's the Deluxe Thinlines that have the hollow sound chamber, and secondly, the Deluxe Nashvilles that have an extra single-coil pickup fitted in the mid position. As these are luxury versions, the word ‘Deluxe’ has been added to the series names.
