Geen goeie Fender voor het zelfde geld heb je een American Performer. De mijne had een scheurtje bij de hals pocket. Ik heb hem terug gestuurd en heb een Jazzmaster American Performer gekocht ook bij Bax.

Gitaar nu zo'n 3 weken in huis. Pracht instrument. In principe is alles mooi afgewerkt zoals je van een Fender met deze prijs mag verwachten. Maar de frets daarentegen zijn voor zo'n gitaar zeer matig afgewerkt. langs de randen zijn nogal hakerig maar wat nog erger is, er zitten op alle! fretten langsgroeven in die vaak erg ruw aanvoelen. Alsof ze vergeten zijn de frets te polijsten.
Het is overigens, door de off-set body en full scale hals, een lange gitaar. Hij past amper in de meegeleverde gigbag.
