Its design was based on the Fender TC 90, a Strat-style semi-hollow guitar that was made as a very limited edition issue in Japan between 2004 and 2005. Construction

The semi-hollow body and headstock of this Fender JA90 are clearly Telecaster. Its tone controls were inspired by those of vintage Fender amplifiers and give the JA90 a strong resemblance with seventies Telecaster Customs. The main differences are under the bonnet, however. This is no guitar for fans of the Telecaster twang. Sound
