This is an amazing guitar, not in the last part due to its exceptional history. The Fender '50s Tele Reclaimed Redwood is made of recycled Sequoia. Before this piece of wood was a Telecaster, it was part of a Californian road bridge. Sequoia is a wood type that is characterised by an attractive red colour and a delightfully warm, yet punchy tone. The American Vintage Hot Rod offers the classic Telecaster sound and adds to that a wide-range humbucker in the neck position, so that this guitar sounds as remarkable as it looks. This guitar comes with an ABS Molded guitar case.

We can tell from the specs that Fender intended this amazing Tele to be a genuine player. It features a D-profile neck with a satin-gloss finished back for immensely smooth playability. Its compound radius fretboard is a rare sight on a Telecaster, yet you'll instantly appreciate its added value. The traditional 7.25-inch radius is perfect for chords, while the flatter 12-inch ensures a modern feel higher up the neck. Moreover, narrow frets allow for good string grip, which is perfect for bending and plucking. Brass saddles and locking tuners complete this guitar by adding great intonation and tuning stability.

The Telecaster is one of the oldest electric guitar designs in the world, wrapping up a sound that has been a favourite of many since the 1950s. Fender's Vintage Hot Rod series takes the classic Tele design and adds some extra power to the guitar in the form of a Custom Shop single-coil pickup in the bridge position - for the definitive Tele twang that pierces through the mix so well - and a warm-sounding wide-range humbucker. Both pickups can be used in series or parallel, allowing for a wide range of different sounds.
