With the Player II Stratocaster HSS, Fender lifts the popular Player Series to a higher level. This seriously adaptable Strat is a safe pick for guitarists who want that classic Fender appeal along with maximum tonal flexibility. In fact, the alder body has been armed with a set of newly developed pickups: an Alnico 2 bridge humbucker for heady rhythm parts and two Alnico 6 single-coils for crisp cleans and warm leads alike.
