The Fender Player II Stratocaster combines that timeless Fender charm with a modern playing feel and wide-ranging yet very familiar sound. This second-gen Player has been properly upgraded and features rolled fretboard edges for increased playing comfort, a stable two-point tremolo bridge, a set of Fender ClassicGear tuners for firmed-up tuning stability, and various other perks, all of which result in even more impressive bang-for-your-buck ratio than the original Player Series models.

The Player II Stratocaster: Authentic Fender Sound

The comfortably contoured alder body of the Player II Strat has been loaded with three newly-developed Fender Alnico 5 Strat single-coil pickups, which grant access to a broad range of instantly-recognisable sounds fit for pop, funk, blues, rock, country - you name it. To finish, the back of the neck has been given a satin-gloss finish so it doesn't get sticky halfway through long playing sessions.
