This Jaguar is part of Fender's attractively-priced Player series that is made in their Mexican factory in Ensenada. It has an Alnico 3 humbucker at the bridge and an Alnico 2 single-coil pickup in the neck position giving you a wide range of classic tones. The humbucker delivers a full sound with tight bass, a lightly scooped midrange and just the right amount of trebles. The single-coil, on the other hand, gives you a bright sound with warm bass and rich mids. This combination is excellent for styles including surf, alternative rock and pop.

Deze gitaar heeft een waanzinnige bespeelbaarheid want er is ergonomisch geen enkele tegenwerking dat spanning kan geven. Mijn plectrumhand gaat er als het ware van wapperen omdat de bodyvorm en brug op geen enkele manier in de weg zitten. Verder heeft ie ook nog eens waanzinnig rijke boventonen, dus perfect voor ambient en jazz! Conclusie, zowel qua bespeelbaarheid en sound een fantastische gitaar!!

Geweldige gitaar en al helmaal voor de prijs.
De gitaar kwam al goed afgestelt binnen alleen de brug moest aangepast worden maar verder geen aanmerkingen.
Onthoud wel dat er een humbucker als bridge pickup zit en dus geen single coil. Voor mij persoonlijk is dat een pluspunt aangezien ik veel van Nirvana speel en Cobain modificeerde zijn jaguar met humbuckers.
Opties zijn wel gelimiteerd in vergelijking met het klassieke model. Ook jammer dat de chrome platen missen maar ja dat is puur voor t oog.
Overall een aanrader.

Heerlijke no-nonsense Jaguar. Made in mexico, en met oog voor kwaliteit: gladde frets, kaarsrechte nek en fretboard. Eigenlijk niks op aan te merken en vrijwel direct bespeelbaar out of the box met enkele simpele afstellingen. De brug is verbeterd t.o.v. de geribbelde oude bruggen waardoor de strings vaak uit de groef glipten. Dat is echt wel fijn. Ik speel redelijk hard, nog geen probleem na de eerste paar uren spelen. De electronische circuits zoals op een klassieke Jaguar zijn grotendeels afwezig. Deels jammer, maar ook wel lekker overzichtelijk.
Zoals gebruikelijk binnen 24 uur door Bax bezorgd, en zorgvuldig verpakt. Top gewoon.
