Fender pay homage to Music City and the legends raised there with the Player Plus Nashville Telecaster! A modern build for guitarists in need of access to a huge range of sounds, this electric guitar features a solid alder body loaded with three Noiseless pickups. Next to the classic Tele-twang offered by the bridge and neck pickups, you can whip up fat Strat sounds by toggling the mid position, or engage the push-pull switch to fire up the neck pickup along with either the mid or bridge-mounted single-coil for even fuller tone when the five way pickup switch is set in either of the first two positions.
The Player Plus Nashville Telecaster: Formidable Playing Comfort
One of the biggest trump cards the Nashville Tele packs is playing ease. Instead of a traditionally bulging, 9.5" radius, Fender have blessed this Player Plus Series guitar with a much flatter 12" fretboard radius, allowing for effortless note bends with maximum sustain. Meanwhile, the stable fixed bridge is equipped with six steel block saddles that, next to accurate intonation, offer a comfortable resting spot for your right hand, while a set of Deluxe Cast Sealed Locking tuners firm up the stability of this thoroughbred workhorse of a guitar.

Twee punten van kritiek: de holtes in de body zijn vies en de zwarte afscherming is wel erg terloops erin gekwast. Hoe snel moet alles gaan in de Ensenada Fender fabriek? Het grootste punt van kritiek is de topkam. Deze is zo scheef ingevijld dat de hoge e snaar veel te dicht bij de rand van de hals ligt en de lage e snaar zo'n 4 mm van de rand. Ook zijn de sleufjes veel te vlak gevijld zodat de snaren aan de kant van de halserin loskomen en zoemen. De gitaar staat hier tussen een Custom Shop 62-er reissue Strat en een USA Telecaster en het verschil in topkam met de andere twee gitaren is goed zichtbaar. Zo'n topkam hoort op een gitaar van enkele tientjes. Ik twijfel: terugsturen of een nieuwe topkam laten maken.
