The Fender Player Stratocaster is the spiritual successor to the Standard series. If you're looking for a genuine Fender that's great to play and attractively-priced too, this model is for you! The Player Strat is equipped with newly-designed Alnico Player Series single-coil pickups the deliver a wide range of authentic Fender tones. It also has a modern 2-point synchronised tremolo and a '50s-style spaghetti logo on the headstock.
Player Series: modern playing comfort
When it comes to playing comfort, the Player series guitars really live up to their name. The back of the maple neck has a satin-gloss finish that gives it a fast, smooth feel while the front has a chique high-gloss finish. The neck has a modern C profile and the maple fretboard has a familiar 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Versatility
Fender has been commonly using alder for the body of its guitars since 1956. This type of wood has a high level of density which gives it excellent resonance and sustain, and adds brightness to the overall sound as well as enhancing the upper mids. Add three Player Series single-coil pickups and the 5-way pickup switch to the mix and you have a versatile instrument that's ready for just about anything.
