General
In the mid '70s, Jeff Beck played a Telecaster with two humbucker pickups and this Fender Player Telecaster HH PF has the same pickup configuration. It delivers a powerful sound with the renowned twang straight to your amplifier. Even though this model is made in Mexico, it features the same string-through-body Tele bridge with 6 bent steel saddles as the more expensive American models. It's comfortable to play too thanks to the maple neck's modern C profile with satin-gloss finish and the fretboard that has a 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Player Telecaster HH: vintage Alnico 2 humbucker sounds
The humbuckers have Alnico 2 magnets that ensure a fuller sound with warm bass, prominent mids and rounded trebles that is ideal for styles like classic rock and blues. You won't get any of the unwanted noise that's often associated with single-coil pickups either. Using the volume and tone controls along with the 3-way pickup switch, you can get other vintage-style tones as well.
