General

Fender's popular Road Worn series consists of instruments that don't just have vintage specifications, they've been given a vintage look too. That means they also feel and sound just like the original models they're based upon. Better still, you'll pay a lot less for a brand new guitar like this Fender Road Worn '60s Jazzmaster 3-Color Sunburst PF than you would for an original '60s version.

Construction

Just like the '60s models, this Jazzmaster has a lightweight alder body with a nitrocellulose lacquer that doesn't just look authentic, it allows better resonance too. The maple neck has a Mid '60s C profile and a pau ferro fretboard with 21 vintage-style frets. Two American Vintage Jazzmaster pickups and the vintage-style floating tremolo bridge ensure the classic Jazzmaster sound.

Road Worn

Fender takes great care to make sure that their Road Worn guitars look just like the original models. That doesn't stop at the nitrocellulose lacquer, but also includes other parts that have been given an 'aged' look that is totally convincing. The neck even feels the same as a model that's been played for years. It's safe to say that the Fender Road Worn '60s Jazzmaster 3-Color Sunburst PF has been aged to perfection!
