This '50s Telecaster Modified from Fender's Vintera series is a vintage-style electric guitar with modern playability. It's equipped with a Custom Shop vintage-style single-coil Tele pickup at the bridge and has a Custom Shop Twisted single-coil Tele pickup in the neck position. It also has a 4-way pickup switch and an S-1 phase switch giving you an unbelievably wide range of unmistakable Fender tones to play with. The thick 'soft V' neck profile, modern medium jumbo frets and 9.5-inch fretboard radius make this model a joy to play too. It even comes with a deluxe gig included.

Wrote the following about Fender Vintera 50s Telecaster Modified Daphne Blue MN with gig bag

Eigenlijk bestel ik nooit een gitaar online, maar ik heb beslist geen spijt van deze uitzondering op de regel. Wat een top gitaar. De hals is lekker dik en speelt soepel. Ook de fretboard is ook lekker snel. De actie is wat hoog (maar dat hoort ook bij een Telecaster) maar dat kan je makkelijk zelf verstellen.
De intonatie zo uit de doos is niet helemaal top, maar ook dat kan je zelf aanpassen.
De pick-ups klinken ook echt goed. Ook met de s-switch krijg je mooie geluiden uit de gitaar. De pick-ups zijn ook erg 'heet'. Daardoor pikken ze het geluid goed op als je zacht speelt en als je wat harder speelt krijg je wat meer crunch.
Ik had eigenlijk niet veel verwacht van de gigbag die er bij zat, maar het is een prima fender-gigbag. Je hoeft dus geen extra gigbag te kopen. De snaren die er op zitten zijn waardeloos maar dat heb je blijkbaar vaker als je een gitaar online besteld. Niet erg, heb snel een extra setje snaren besteld.
Ik heb de gitaar nu een week en ik ben echt tevreden. Als je een goede fender telecaster wil voor een redelijke prijs is dit echt een gitaar voor jou. Ik weet niet of er veel verschil zit tussen deze versie en andere versie van de vintera 50s telecaster. Behalve dan de s-switch. Voor dat moet je ze uittesten in de winkel ;)
