Gibson brings with the Les Paul Studio Session from the Modern Collection an improved version of the Les Paul Studio. For instance, this model comes with an AA figured maple top for an extra luxurious look. The underlying mahogany body has undergone Ultra Modern weight reduction, so you won't be prone to back or shoulder pain during long playing sessions. The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session comes complete with a practical soft shell case.
Les Paul Studio Session: fine playing experience
Gibson has fitted the Les Paul Studio Session with a mahogany neck with the comfortable SlimTaper profile. It has also opted for an ebony fingerboard with the familiar inlaid trapezoid position markings. Thanks to the aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop Bar and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with keystone buttons, you can count on a stable base and excellent resonance. The Graph Tech nut also contributes to this.
Wide range of sounds
Besides the looks and the ease of playing, the sound cannot be left behind, of course. No worries, because this is where the Les Paul Studio Session really impresses. Gibson has loaded this model with the '57 Classic+ humbucker in the bridge position and the '57 Classic at the neck. This immediately gives you that warm, rich sound you would expect from an American Gibson. In addition, you can use different push/pull switches for coil-tapping, phase switching and pure bypass.
