General

By flipping the headstock and slapping a thick and juicy Seymour Duncan humbucker at the bridge, the Godin Session R-HT PRO takes the Super-Strat formula through the proverbial roof. The solid Canadian Laurentian basswood body has been smoothed down and contoured in all the right places, while the bolt-on neck has been rounded at the heel to grant supple access to every last one of the twenty-two frets lining the rosewood fretboard. Lush, natural resonance and long sustain is assured by a stable hardtail bridge and a Graph Tech nut, while the whole has been wrapped in satin-gloss and stamped with a vintage Godin logo.

The Godin Session R-HT PRO: Seymour Duncan & Lace Sensor Pups

Godin's signature sonic flexibility is evidenced by a fat HSS pup configuration, where a Seymour Duncan ‘59 SH-1b humbucker delivers that iconic PAF-style output from the bridge and a pair of Lace Sensor Hot Gold single-coils at the middle and neck positions bring all the spank and growl. Toggle the five-way pickup switch and push/pull tone pot to flip through a well-stocked library of tonal profiles and explore everything from fierce distortions to clear and sparkling open chords and articulately defined leads. Reliable, refined and mega-flexible, the Godin Session R-HT PRO handles like a beautifully built fever dream.
