If you're just starting to play the guitar, but want to get your hands on an electric model that looks and sounds much more expensive than it actually is, Ibanez' GRG131DX could be just what you're after. It has a body made of poplar with a Black Flat finish, but it's the bright red pickguard and matching Sharktooth inlays on the bound pine fretboard that really stand out. This Gio series guitar also has a practical and stable F106 bridge and the maple neck has a slick GRG profile for practising your licks and solos. Two ceramic Infinity humbucker pickups deliver a full sound to your amplifier and you can tweak your desired tone to perfection using the volume and tone controls along with the 5-way pickup switch.

Gitaar ligt lekker in de hand, weegt niet te veel en speelt makkelijk weg. Gitaar heeft 24 speelbare frets en dat is redelijk veel ten opzichte van de meeste standaard gitaren in deze prijsklasse. Heb zelf ook nog een Ibanez Destroyer (prijsklasse 600 - 700). En dat verschil merk je dan wel maar voor het robuustere ragwerk met veel distortion een prima gitaar met mooie uitstraling.
