The GRG170DX is a model with double cutaway and a versatile pickup configuration. With its jumbo frets and tremolo, this guitar is a comfortable instrument for practising your tap and bend techniques and playing solo parts. Because it has a compact FAT-10 bridge, your playing hand will have ample room for comfortable playing.
Formidable Sound
Every Powersound pickup has its own quality. For instance, the pickup at the neck is a bright-sounding humbucker with a high output, which means that it won't sound muddy when you turn the volume knobs fully open. The Powersound humbucker at the bridge also has a high output and has an extra, formidable reproduction of flageolet tones. The single-coil pickup with high output provides you with maximum clarity for playing perfect cleans. Thanks to the switch positions, you can create interesting pickup combinations.

Het geluid is super, humbuckers lekker strak en dik geluid, kan je lekker laten schreeuwen. De 5 standen switch waardoor je zelfs het single coil geluid hebt. En ja, daar speel je prachtig Jimi Hendrix mee. De fabrieksafstelling was prima. Het enige dat ik heb gedaan is de snaren vernieuwd en gerekt, de tremolo met vaseline in het schroefgat gedraaid (iets té stevig aandraaien, en dan 1 slag terugdraaien) en wat vaseline in de kam bij de snaren gedaan.
Hierdoor kregen de snaren de kans om na gebruik van de tremolo weer terug in hun oude positie te springen. Hierna ontstemde de gitaar dus niet meer na heftig gebruik van de whammy bar.
