With the RG421HPAH-BWB, Ibanez offer up a truly contemporary guitar for fast and heavy work. This model has been dropped from the High Performance Series and as such, has been endowed with a nyatoh body and ash top clad in a specially developed Blue Wave Black finish to enhance the wood-grain. Add the contrasting gold-coloured hardware and you get a heavyweight instrument in a stylish outfit.
The RG421HPAH: Sheer Tonal Variety
Ibanez have thoughtfully mounted the RG421 with two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers complete with coil-tap to gift this guitar with a massive range of tonal potential. The highly stable, fixed F106 bridge makes for solid tuning and incredible sustain while the super-flat Wizard III-profile neck makes for fast and supple playability.

Un vrai couteau suisse, elle est à laise partout
Les clean sont chaleureux, équilibrés
Avec un léger OD et les réglages adéquats on peut taper dans du blues sans problème
Et avec des distos, là cest la surprise :
Elle envoie du lourd, que ce soit en saturation élevée pour du gros métal ou plus légère pour des heavy ou hard , les micros sont nickel
Ça bave pas, cest fluide, pas daigus criards ou de basse trop présente
Ces micros sont géniaux
Esthétique :
Magnifique, la couleur rend superbe (faut aimer laccastillage doré, moi jadore)
Les frettes sont posées nickel, le vernis/peinture sont parfaits, pas de bavure ou autre
Ergo :
Hyper légère, pour jouer debout cest agréable
Bien équilibrée, elle pique pas du nez
Verdict :
Elle na rien à envier à des haut de gamme dautres marques
Cest vraiment une claque
