General
Together with guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Ibanez has released this JS24P signature guitar. This guitar is entirely made to Satriani-style specifications and has what it takes for you to turn it into a true solo monster. Shred your heart out along the abalone inlay finished fretboard and be assured of your tuning with the Edge tremolo bridge. Since the JS24P has a very small fretboard radius, you'll have that edge when you quickly switch trickier chords. This guitar has been designed so that the highest frets are in easy reach, even on the high E string!
Power and Versatility
The JS24P is equipped with first-grade DiMarzio pickups that are capable of pretty much anything. The neck pickup is aptly named 'the Chopper' and gives you a lot of power in the mids and low-end for a great sound with a nice crunch. The FRED pickup that used to be a feature of Satriani guitars has been replaced with The Mo Joe. Mounted at the bridge, this pickup shares similarities with the FRED but packs more power, is just as versatile and offers you excellent tone control for your rhythm parts and solos.
