The JIVAJR is Ibanez' latest attainable Nita Strauss signature electric guitar. During development, Nita made sure the JIVAJR is crafted in full down to the very last detail, and the result is truly one heck of an axe. Bestowed with the soul of its source of inspiration, this rock machine has a quilted maple top armed with a Premium Series Edge Zero II tremolo and an ebony fretboard decorated with Beaten Path luminlay position markers.
The JIVA JR: Quantum Pickups
Since she's guaranteed to sling commanding rhythm parts and face-felting leads wherever she goes, Strauss and Ibanez have outfitted the JIVA JR with the guitar maker's own Quantum pickups in an HSH configuration for immediate bass response and blindingly-fast staccato riffs. The clearly present mid-range shaped by the guitar is easily maintained in the mix, and you needn't fear the notes in your solos losing their precise definition. Meanwhile, playing ease is taking care of by a Wizard III neck with a modern, flat 15.75" radius to accommodate smooth note bending.

Deze de Junior komt uit een gerespecteerde fabriek in Indonesie en dat was wel te zien aan de afstelling, deze was voor de gemiddelde speler netjes afgesteld.
Maar hij wordt absoluut niet perfect afgeleverd daar zit waarschijnlijk het prijs verschil in met de gewone versie. Hier en daar wat gedroogd poetsmiddel restanten in de pickup gaten en de jack ingang, maar och.
Het enige dat ik heb moeten doen is de brug pickup aan de bass kant flink naar beneden schroeven want deze pickups houden van de bass tonen, en verdrong de mids en de highs. De pickups zijn ook niet echt geweldig, ik denk dat ik mijn brug vervang voor een SD JB tzt.
Tevens heb ik die middle pickup zo laag mogelijk geschroefd en tot mijn verbazing komt er nog steeds enorm veel output uit. Dit is noodzakelijk omdat ik anders met mijn plectrum iedere keer tegen dat ding aan kwam -- maar dat wist ik dat heb ik op mijn RG ook gedaan.
Het enige dat ik nodig moest doen was de toets even met wat plantaardige olie insmeren want die was kurk droog. En ik moest de trustrod in de neck een halve slag strakker doen want was ietsje te gebogen.
En de tone control doet volgens mij niet. Ik heb even gekeken maar zag er netjes gesoldeerd uit, maar ik gebruik de toon toch nooit. Dus ga ik ook niet verder onderzoeken.
Tevens was ik onder de indruk van de bedrading, netjes gesoldeerd en alle kabels netjes opgebonden met een tiewrap.
