Looking for something truly special? Check out the Ibanez PS1CM Paul Stanley Signature Cracked Mirror. Based on the KISS guitarist's original 1979 Cracked Mirror Iceman, this eye-catching electric guitar features a maple top finished with dozens of pieces of plexiglass to recreate the look of a broken mirror and, as befits such a singular model, the PS1CM comes wrapped up in a matching case complete with a certificate of authenticity and an extra pickguard, both autographed by Paul Stanley.
The Ibanez PS1CM: Original Iceman Body
The PS1CM has the same body shape as the Ibanez PS10 Iceman from 1978, which means you're looking at a comfortably contoured mahogany body and a 3-piece maple neck that's been set in for extra sustain. The ebony fretboard, meanwhile, has been lined with twenty-two medium jumbo frets that have been received the Prestige treatment so they're perfectly rounded and polished for optimum playing comfort. Other original features include the block-shaped fretboard inlays and the multi-ply body binding with abalone inlay.
Seymour Duncan Pickups
Loaded with Paul Stanley's favourite pickups, this signature electric guitar has been outfitted with a Seymour Duncan '59 neck humbucker and a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 bridge humbucker, giving you both a range of warm PAF-style sounds and increased-output tone with a little extra bite. So you can inject more sparkle into cleans, Ibanez have thoughtfully mounted a push-pull coil-split tone pot. In terms of hardware, the Ibanez PS1CM is identical to the original, meaning you're getting Artist-style tuners with pearloid buttons and a fully adjustable Ibanez Gibraltar bridge with sustain block and Quick Change tailpiece.
