General
Ibanez' RGEW521ZC is an electric guitar with a mahogany body and a ziricote top with a Natural Flat finish. The neck is made of roasted maple and has a Macassar ebony fretboard. The Wizard III neck profile, 24 jumbo frets and 15.75-inch fretboard radius give this guitar excellent playing comfort no matter whether you're playing rhythm parts or lightning-fast solos.
Sound and pickups
The wood types used in its construction give the RGEW521ZC a warm sound with prominent mids and a bit of bite. It's equipped with two cream white, high-output DiMarzio humbuckers that are perfect for music styles like rock and metal, but suitable for other styles of music too. The Air Norton at the neck delivers a full sound with excellent definition and sustain, while The Tone Zone at the bridge offers extra depth, punch, harmonics and dynamics.
