With the RGDIX6MPB, Ibanez show us that an electric solid-body that was built specifically for heavy metal doesn't have to be black. This Iron Label guitar has a striking Surreal Blue Burst finish on a poplar burl top, which contrasts nicely by the birdseye maple neck and light, slanted edges of the body. The Ibanez RGDIX6 is built for drop D tuning and comes complete with a .010 string set so you can even play an entire tone lower than the standard E.
RGDIX6MPB: high-quality parts
The ultra-slender Nitro Wizard 3-piece neck enables your hand to fly over the frets. It's made of maple and bubinga for extra stability and tuning isn't a problem at all thanks to the fixed Gibraltar Standard II bridge and Gotoh MG-T Locking Tuners. This axe is equipped with passive DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbucking pickups that provide plenty of punch and clarity so that low D can really cut through the mix.
