For optimal playing comfort Ibanez have chosen a Nitro Wizard-7 neck, with 24 jumbo frets, and a rosewood fretboard with a modern, flat 15.74-inch radius. Both X humbuckers give you the benefits of active pickups - an organic character - with extra headroom from the passive double-coil pickups. The resulting amplified sound is defined with particularly lively overtones. This is also partly due to the Alnico V magnet core that gives the lower notes more bottom end without losing tightness.
