With a Jackson JS12 Dinky Gloss White, you'll leave a jaw-dropping impression. Especially fans of rougher music styles, with the shredding sound, will be pleased with this instrument. This complete guitar comes with a discrete price tag. If you're a guitar newby but are fully aware of the Jackson reputation, this will be an excellent guitar for you. Compared to the JS11 Dinky, this model has two extra frets, for a total of 24 frets.
Tonal characteristics of the JS12 Dinky
Of course, the sound is the most important thing and this Jackson knows how to handle it. The neck is made of maple and has a amaranth fretboard which gives your sound a snappy attack and a sparkly, bright tone. The body is made of basswood, which sounds warm and emphasises the mid tones. In the eighties, these tones were considered to be the perfect sound for great shredding. The two humbuckers pickups can be found at the bridge and at the neck and can be switched to three different positions. Finally, the tone and volume knobs give your sound the finishing touch.
