Another feature is the compensated strings-through-body bridge, with adjustable saddles, made by Jackson themselves. Because of the string-through construction, the strings connect optimally with the body, for maximum tone and sustain. It also doesn't require a recess, like a tremolo bridge does, allowing the alder wood to resonate freely for a powerful sound!

Its appearance might raise some expectations and in order to live up to them, the Jackson RRT-5 has two Seymour Duncan humbuckers. And they surely deliver. The well-known SD JB humbucker is mounted at the bridge and offers an exquisite midrange with a high output. The '59 humbucker at the neck is more vintage-oriented and provides a clean yet sparkly sound, that is full on at a high distortion level. The three-way switch, volume and tone controls take care of the rest. The RRT-5 has a Gloss Black finish and gold-coloured hardware, including machine heads. It's a treat for the eyes, ears and guitarist's hands.
