The Jackson RRXMG has phenomenal looks. This solid-body guitar belongs to the X Series Rhoads line by Fender daughter Jackson. In the spirit of the Rhandy Rhoads guitar, the body of this model also sports the famous offset V shape. Its Snow White finish has been completed with black pinstripes to give this guitar an extra dynamic look. The striking head with the prominently visible Jackson logo tops it off. More importantly, this shredding machine has some outstanding technical qualities as well.

RRXMG Snow White: body and neck

Its body is made of basswood, a wood type that is perfect for rock and metal music because of its growling mid-range, pronounced sound and great sustain. The neck is made of maple and joined with the body by means of a neck-through construction. This results in optimal playability of even the highest frets, which is even further enhanced thanks to the compound radius-fretboard which measures 12 inches at the string nut and widens to 16 inches at the body. This way, playing open chords and barre chords on the highest frets becomes just as easy as playing fierce solos. The rosewood fretboard is fitted with characteristic shark fin inlays.

Floyd Rose tremolo and EMG pickups

The quality mark of this guitar is contributed by a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. Guitarists can rely on the stability and consistency in tuning of the Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge. This tremolo is produced according to the same specifications as the Original Floyd Rose but this version has saddles made of a zinc alloy instead of steel. The humbuckers are made by EMG. The active EMG 85 at the neck offers a warm, smooth and natural sound while the EMG 81 at the bridge provides a strong sound and a high output so that you can easily cut through the heaviest mixes.
