This Soloist, with transparent purple finish, is part of the friendly priced X Series and has got what it takes to handle the rough stuff. Especially the active EMG humbuckers provide a constant wall of amplified guitar sound, while a solid TonePros bridge, with string-through-body construction, gives just that bit of extra sustain.
Jackson SLATTXMGQ 3-6 Trans Purple: perfect for solos and rhythms
The maple neck of this Soloist, with neck-through construction, features a rosewood fretboard and has been set into two lightweight, linden wings. With a quilted maple top, which beautifully shines through the Trans Purple lacquer, you're guaranteed a balanced and full acoustic basic sound. The slim Jackson neck provides you with great playing comfort and thanks to the compound radius, you get to play solos high up the neck while playing tight chords at the lower positions. The SLATTXMGQ 3-6 is perfect for solo parts and rhythms in styles such as rock and metal music.

De hals is zoals bekend van Jackson heel erg prettig, het gewicht is niet te zwaar en de EMG elementen schreeuwen metal ;)
De hals en de TOM brug waren voor mij belangrijke dealbreakers om dit model te bestellen.
De kleurstelling is tof. De paarse kleur komt mooi uit en alles is zeer mooi afgewerkt.
Jammer dat er geen vergelijkbaar model komt in 2019 met seymour duncan elementen.
Dan zou ik die ook kopen.
Na bestelling werd het de volgende dag geleverd en meteen kon ik genieten van het spelen op deze gitaar.
